Tarangire Sopa is situated on the eastern side of the
Tarangire National Park opposite Tarangire Hill. It is
a large resort type hotel offering a variety of
facilities.
The outbuildings really look strange when you
arrive as the roof sort of sweeps down to the floor.
When you enter though it is a different story! The
view from the lodge is spectacular, overlooking part
of the Tarangire Hill.
The hotel is a member of a large group so you are
assured of any Western comforts. As it is inside the
National Park, you are unable to partake in any
outdoor activities, except for the use of the pool
area. Therefore if you are wanting to be closer to
nature at night, then it is not for you.
