Ruaha River Lodge is built on a rocky hill with spectacular views of the Great Ruaha River. It blends seamlessly into its surroundings with bandas built from natural stone and thatched roofs.
The Lodge is situated in the Ruaha National Park, notably unspoilt by large numbers of visitors and its isolation and peace are its main draw card.
Ruaha River Lodge is owned by the Fox family, and is managed by Peter Fox who, for most of his life, has been involved in Ruaha National Park. His vast experience and knowledge of the park and its wildlife

The lodge is divided into three camps - so that groups of 10 people or more can have exclusive rights to their own private camp deep within Tanzania's wilderness if they want.
