The Selous Safari Camp offers excellent cuisine - the dining room, lounge and a well stocked bar and a stunning viewing deck are mounted on a high platform, giving spectacular views across the Rufiji River and Lake
Nzerekera. At sunset wander down to the lakeside to the customary bonfire for an ideal setting for you to relax and enjoy a sundowner or three with your fellow guests, and to listen to and maybe relate your own tales of the day.

In the evenings the chefs prepare fine cuisine in their well stocked kitchen, and a three course, silver service dinner is served, complemented by your choice of any one of their fine wines. Breakfasts feature lovely platters of fruits and freshly baked breads.
Here you can choose any or all three entirely different African safari experiences – by riverboat, or in 4 x 4 open-sided vehicles, or walking through the bush along elephant trails, viewing game in and around the river or in the reserve, your visit here is guaranteed to let you ‘touch the wild’.
Game viewing from the four-wheel drive vehicles is always excellent. Riverboat trips will bring you up close and personal with the hippos and crocodiles.
